ShiVA3D awards – deadline extended – ShiVa Engine

ShiVA3D awards – deadline extended

Entries will now be accepted until end of Wednesday February 2nd. Covering seven categories, the ShiVa3D awards will honour the very best games powered by ShiVa3D and released in the last 12 months.
With so many games now available across multiple platforms, we want to formally recognise the best of the best with our brand new ShiVa3D awards. We’ll be making awards in seven categories: in six of them, we want you to submit the ShiVa3D-powered games that you think deserve to win. The seventh, the Golden ShiVa, will be for the best overall game and the winning title will be decided by the judging panel.
The awards are free to enter, and open to games developed in the last 12 months using ShiVa3D by licensed ShiVa3D developers. If you have a game, or games, which you think will qualify for a ShiVa3D award, read on:
* Best gameplay
* Best graphics
* Best cross platform game
* Best mobile-based game
* Best browser-based game
* Best serious game
* The Golden Shiva – please don’t send in an entry for this category.
There is an entry form on the Stonetrip developer website at If you are submitting more than one game, you’ll need to fill out a separate form for each game, then submit each entry to Stonetrip through the site. The closing date for entries is Wednesday February 2, 2011 and we’ll announce a shortlist prior to the awards ceremony itself. There is a full set of rules and guidelines for the awards with the entry form.
The winning games will be announced on Wednesday March 2nd 2011 at an event at GDC in San Francisco – we’ll have full details of the venue and the ceremony nearer the time. Winners will receive a bespoke trophy to honour their achievement.
Good luck – we look forward to hearing from you in the next couple of days!
